Both the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Health and Human Services have recently asked for public and scientific input on the health harm of exposure to wireless radiation, but why? In the news this week, Patti and Doug talk about microplastics in chewing gum, the growing scientific alarm over PFAS chemicals, and parents in Madison Wisconsin opting out of digital learning for their kids. The renowned epidemiologist Dr. Devra Davis, founder and acting president of Environmental Health Trust, talks about the somewhat strange request from the FCC and HHS for more information about the health impacts of exposure to the radiation from wireless devices. (The government has already done a lot of the research, and have been provided with thousands of scientific studies.)
