Synopsis:

In the first half-hour, Host Tiokasin Ghosthorse speaks with returning guest Ofelia Rivas. Ofelia is an elder and activist from the Tohono O'odham Nation. She is the Founder of O'odham Voice Against the Wall. 

Ofelia will bring us up to date on U.S./Mexico border issues and how they continue to affect her people. 

In the second half-hour, Tiokasin welcomes back Roberto “Dr. Cintli” Rodriguez. Dr. Cintli is a long-time journalist/columnist who returned after 30 years to the classroom to get his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Arizona in the Department of Mexican American Studies. 

Dr. Cintli's new book, “Yolqui: A Warrior Summoned from the Spirit World,” will be published on November 7 by the University of Arizona Press.
