"SMALL POTATOES" A RED DIAPER BABY'S NOVELLA

AUTHOR DIANE SOKOLOW ON “SMALL POTATOES,” A RED DIAPER BABY’S NOVELLA

On tonight’s show we’ll be joined by author Diane Sokolow whose debut publication, Small Potatoes, is a fictionalized red-diaper baby’s memoir, a novella about a family ruined when a fellow post office worker reports the father to the FBI for fraternizing with a card-carrying Communist, his wife.

Diane Sokolow was born and raised in Brooklyn and has spent her career as a motion picture and television executive and producer based in New York while working in Hollywood. She has nurtured and brought to fruition many memorable projects, including Wildcat, Little Drummer Girl, and The World According to Garp; and has collaborated with a who’s who of novelists, playwrights and filmmakers. Now, she too, has taken up the story-tellers’ pen.
