In this edition of WWl...
- we will be joined by Russell Shoatz III, activist and son of U.S. political prisoner, Russell Maroon Shoatz, to talk about the push to get his father - incarcerated for nearly 48 years and recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer - released from prison.
- In addition, also speak with former political prisoner Laura Whitehorn, who is now a member of the advocacy organization known as RAPP—Release Aging Prisoners from Prison, to discuss the work of that organization.
- We have reports on last Saturday's release of MOVE member Delbert Africa after 42 years of unjust imprisonment...
- and give an update on the case of another pollitical prisoner - Dr. Mutulu Shakur - also facing bone marrow cancer and fighting for compassionate release.
