HEAR BEETHOVEN'S WORK THAT HE NEVER HEARD!
It's the plight of many composers, writing music and never getting to hear it. In 1770 young Beethoven was a court musician in his hometown of Bonn, and commissioned to write two cantatas. One for the death of Emperor Joseph II, the other for the accession of Emperor Leopold II. The works were delivered but never performed.
We'll give ear to more choral and chamber music with world premiere recordings and the bird of the week. Tune in!
