INTERVIEWS WITH NAFTULI MOSTER AND NOLIWE WEEKS

First Leonie will ask Naftuli Moster of Yaffed about the spread of COVID in Ultra Orthodox Jewish communities, which may have contributed to the decision to close 100 public and 200 non-public school buildings to in-person learning in 9 zip codes in NYC for at least two weeks.

Then she will interview Prof. Noliwe Weeks of Cornell University about her book “Cutting School: the Segrenomics of American Education” about how entrepreneurs and corporate interests have focused on making a profit off the education of disadvantaged Black children, rather than provide them with the sort of education that wealthy white children receive.
