On tonight’s show we’ll be joined by Angelica Page, actress, director, producer, writer, and the only daughter of legendary actors Rip Torn and Geraldine Page, to celebrate the publication of BOUNTIFUL: Growing Up with Geraldine Page, A Daughter’s Memoir.
Angelica Page has appeared frequently onstage on and off-Broadway, earning an Outer Critic’s Circle nomination for Best Solo Performance as Sylvia Plath in Edge, the Helen Hayes Award for best Actress for assuming the lead in the Kennedy Center production of Sideman and the New York People’s Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Patsy, the role she originated for the same production on Broadway. She was nominated for her second Helen Hayes Award for her critically praised portrayal of Ivy Weston in the National Broadway Tour of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning “August: Osage County.” She has appeared in 19 films including Oscar nominated “Nobody’s Fool”, “The Sixth Sense”, “The Contender” and the self penned “Lucky Days” which won the CIFF Best Feature Award & Worldfest Gold Award.
She has appeared in numerous films and television programs and wrote and produced the critically acclaimed one-woman show Turning Page which this book is based upon. She lives in Mexico.
