WILD INSIDE - A NEW FILM ABOUT FLACO THE OWL
On Sunday, August 2, at 9:00 a.m. ET, Animal Matters hosts Jeff Simmons and Erin Clarke welcome acclaimed filmmaker Penny Lane, director of the new film Wild Inside, for a conversation about Flaco, the Eurasian eagle-owl who captured the attention and affection of New Yorkers.
Lane will discuss what drew her to Flaco’s remarkable story, the complicated relationship between people and urban wildlife, and the questions the film raises about freedom, captivity and our connection to animals living among us.
