WILDLIFE CROSSINGS AND WOLF CONSERVATION IN NEW YORK

Tune in to Animal Matters on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 9 AM ET on WBAI 99.5 FM NY for a powerful conversation about protecting wildlife and creating safer pathways for animals and people.

Hosts Jeff Simmons and Erin Clarke will explore the importance of wildlife crossings — what they are, how they work, and why they are increasingly vital as roads, development, and habitat fragmentation impact animal populations.

The episode will also spotlight the work of the Wolf Conservation Center in New York, including its role in wildlife education, conservation, and protecting wolves through advocacy and public engagement.

Guests include Alissa Fadden, Wildlife Connectivity Project Manager at The Nature Conservancy, and Dana Goin, Program Coordinator and Wildlife Educator at the Wolf Conservation Center.

Listen live on WBAI 99.5 FM NY or stream at WBAI.org.
