RGB VOTES -- ONE STEP CLOSER TO A RENT FREEZE

The NYC Rent Guidelines Board held its preliminary vote for guidelines affecting nearly one million apartments effective October 1, 2026. A potential two-year rent freeze is part of the preliminary guideline. Hearings to start soon, and a final vote will be held in late June. We will have a report from the pre-vote rally.
