MUSIC AND POEM FROM IRELAND/PALESTINE CONCERT IN NYC

I’ll be playing music and a powerful poem read by Fadi Bouaz — in Arabic and English — from the Concert of Solidarity: Ireland and Palestine, a fundraiser for the Concern Gaza Crisis Appeal. After that, I’ll dig into the story of the six members of Congress now urging U.S. service members and intelligence officers to disobey illegal orders. An interesting twist, considering nearly all of them served in Iraq and never protested or refused an order back then — but today, they’re calling on some private or sergeant out there to take the stand they themselves didn’t.
