ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITY THIS THANKSGIVING
On the Thanksgiving episode (November 27, 2025) of City Watch on WBAI 99.5 FM NY at 5 PM ET, host Jeff Simmons invites you to learn about three organizations addressing food insecurity during the city’s and nation’s affordability crisis. Amid the recent federal government shutdown and other economic challenges, these three organizations have stepped up to help New Yorkers.
Joining Jeff this hour are: Jeremy Kaplan, Executive Director at Encore Community Services; Tania Collazo, Senior Director of Nutrition Services at JASA; and, Christopher Bromson, CEO & Executive Director, AKC Museum of the Dog.
