WEIRD CIRCLE, HALL OF FANTASY, LOST JEAN SHEPHERD 1962
This Wednesday overnight, November 12 into 13 from 12 to 2 am in THE DUSTBIN OF HISTORY, we try a new series THE WEIRD CIRCLE, another HALL OF FANTASY, and yet another lost episode of JEAN SHEPHERD “Army: Area Two” from the Gary Hines Collection from November 13, 1962. THE WEIRD CIRCLE from RCA/NBC syndication on July 15, 1943 #2 "The House and The Brain." An evil spirit kept alive 400 years haunts a house and murders the old woman living there. The story was written by Edward Bulwer-Lytton as “The Haunted and the Haunters; or, The House and the Brain,” first published Blackwood’s Magazine in 1859.
THE HALL OF FANTASY from Mutual net, WGN, Chicago origination on March 09, 1953 #16 "The Mask Of Ashor." A messenger from the netherworld, and a bargain declined. Produced and written by Richard Thorne, with Eloise Kummer, Jim Ameche, directed by Leroy Olliger, music by Harold Turner, SFX by Wayne Dickenson. The program was rebroadcast on November 23, 1953.
