Co-hosts Michael Smith and Jim Lafferty speak with the author of the book We’re Coming For You And Your Rotten System: How Socialists Beat Amazon and Upended Big-City Politics. Jonathan Rosenblum explains the book and its title, he also describes his time working with Kshama Sawant and goes into detail about how Democratic Socialists of America have organized politically secure higher wages and better labor conditions for workers in Washington state. Jonathan is a journalist, labor organizer and a member of the National Writers Union.
Hosts then discuss a new lawsuit brought by civil rights attorneys on behalf of Malcolm X's family. The suit alleges that the New York City Police Department and the FBI are likely to have both participated in the assassination of their father and a likely cover-up. Attorney Flint Taylor with the People's Law Office of Chicago is in the guest seat to discuss the advances in this historic lawsuit.
