RESIST, RISE, REMEMBER: PRIDE & THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY

On Sunday, June 1, WBAI hosts Carlos Menchaca and Jeff Simmons host a four-hour special to kick off LBGTQ+ Pride Month, Resist, Rise, Remember: Pride and the Fight for Equality.

Throughout the morning, the hosts will be joined by advocates on the frontlines championing equality and protecting our rights in the face of mounting actions designed to scaler back our freedoms and dignity.

Throughout the show, we’ll open our phone lines to you—our listeners—because your stories matter. Your voices are powerful. Together, we will examine where we stand, the legal actions underway, the grassroots movements rising up, and what it will take to preserve our rights and resist this wave of attacks.
