AUTHOR STEPHEN BOOK ON SECRET MAGIC STUFF FOR ACTORS
On tonight’s show, we’ll be joined by acting teacher and author Stephen Book to discuss Secret Magic Stuff for Actors: Solutions for Almost Every Situation, newly published by Silman James Press.
Stephen Book, a long time faculty member of The Juilliard School and the University of Southern California, has been teaching and coaching at his Hollywood workshop for 39 years as well as directing productions off-Broadway and in regional theaters. His students have included William Hurt, Rita Moreno, Robin Williams, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Val Kilmer, Viola Davis and George Carlin. He is the author of Book on Acting, Improvisation Techniques for the Professional Actor in Film Theater and Television and The Actor Takes A Meeting.
