ACTING BY THE AGING

on tonight’s show we’ll be joined by performing and directing artists Roger Hendrick Simon and the team of Nancy Gabor and Paul Binnerts, all currently using surprising theatrical techniques to explore issues of aging, Simon by starring as a 80-ish stage director starved for a chance to direct again in a 5 to 8 minute five episode film noir  series called, The Last Act, written by his son, Dan Simon and streaming free on Youtube and many other digital platforms; Gabor and Binnerts explore the same subject in a show called Above Ground – Not Exactly a Comedy, featuring members of You’re Never Too Young to Play, their Westbeth improvisational workshop of actors aged 74 to 98.
