Co-hosts Heidi Boghosian and Maria Hall talk speak with Stephen Rohde, author and constitutional law scholar about the executive orders aiming to dismantle diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility from culture of the United States. While many federal and non-government agencies are quickly complying with these executive orders, we'll learn about their constitutionality and how others are fighting them in court. Stephen practiced civil rights law for nearly 50 years. He currently serves as Chair of Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace. He is the past President of the ACLU Foundation of Southern California, and the past Chair of Death Penalty Focus.


We get a historic perspective on the battle to protect the freedom of the press. One of the most preeminent First Amendment lawyers in the country, James Goodall joins co-hosts Heidi Boghosian and Stephen Rohde. James Goodall represented the New York Times in the famous Pentagon Papers case and New York Times v Sullivan. Goodall explains how his cases were won and in the context of current freedom of press court decisions.
