Co-hosts Michael Smith and Jim Lafferty welcome returning guest author and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Chris Hedges. Hosts discuss a range of topics including the impacts of America's new oligarchs and how the genocidal machine will behave at the end of civilized society. Chris is the author of 14 books, his recent book is titled A Genocide Foretold: Reporting on Survival and Resistance in Occupied Palestine.
 
Hosts then speak with a nationally known expert on immigrant rights and low-wage workers about Donald Trump's plan to deport millions of immigrants back to their home countries. Attorney Victor Narro explains how some organizations are resisting the deportation operation. Victor is the Project Director for the UCLA Labor Center and Core Faculty for the UCLA Department of Labor Studies.
