Jack Benny checked out of the Sherry Netherland because the hotel refused to press Benny's Kleenex, and lots more things to say about Jack. Fred interviews Roy Heckler, owner of the longest running show in New York City, the flea circus at Hubert's Museum. Fred is upset that Kenny is listening to a competing quiz show on another station. All Fred can offer is entertain the audience! Fred goes into the audience to give away money. The Texaco Workshop Players present "The Dentist's Plight," or "The Senator's Tooth Was A Debutante At Heart, So He Knew It Had To Come Out." With Fred Allen, Portland Hoffa, Kenny Baker, Roy Heckler, Alan Reed, Al Goodman and His Orchestra, announcer Jimmy Wallington.

VIC AND SADE from CBS on Sep 28, 1942 at 1:30 PM eastern. “Princes–Moon–on–the-River” for Ivory Flakes and Crisco. An earlier performance of the script was broadcast over NBC red at 11:15 eastern. The end-of-program organ comments for the CBS broadcast: “Indian Love Call” and unidentified (generic Indian war dance).

Mrs. McAdams made a suggestion to have a real Indian princess, Princess-Moon-on-the-River, entertain at the next Thimble Club meeting. Written by Paul Rhymer, with Bernardine Flynn as Sade, Art Van Harvey as Vic, Bill Idelson as Rush.
