Co-hosts Michael Smith and Jim Lafferty talk with Professor Henry Giroux on how the banning of books, censorship of teachers, and clampdown on student protest work to the benefit those who would lead the United States into fascism. Professor Giroux has authored many books, most recently he co-authored Fascism on Trial: Education, and the Possibility of Democracy.

Hosts Michael Smith and Jim Lafferty then speak with labor historian and activist, Dianne Feeley about the consequences of unions in the United States that place their workers’ fate in the two major political parties. She argues that doing so has not served their members well and has led to a growing fascistic divide in America.
