The program is heard on WBAI-NY 99.5 FM and on the stream at wbai.org.


LIGHTS OUT from CBS on March 16, 1943 #24 "The Dream" for Ironized Yeast, Energine Shoe White, Wartime PSA. A woman is afraid to sleep because each time that she does, she has a terrible dream. Little Jimmy keeps asking, "Where's my father?" The show manipulates sound in unique manner, mixing audio in a most creative way. Great radio! Host and writer Arch Oboler, announcer Frank Martin.

A strange story about the owner of a candy store who receives an unusual visitor just at midnight. Who is she? What is she?
