This Week on Everything Old Is New Again we present
A Tribute to Mike Renzi
Finally! An Appreciation of his Musical Contribution!
We will hear recordings from some of the singers that he’s recorded with:
Maureen McGovern, Lena Horne, Tony Bennett, Cynthia Crane, Laurie Beechman, Mel Torme, Peggy Lee, Joyce Breach, Jack Jones, Jane Scheckter, Hilary Kole, Nicolas King, Liza Minnelli, Blossom Dearie, Jane Harvey, Carole Sloane, Annie Ross.
We will hear Mike’s final recordings from the Recording Studio Workshop tapings. Provided to us by the workshop’s creator Lina Koutrakos with performances by:
Margaret Curry, Ann Talman, Diane DeAngelo, Mary Sue Daniel, Patrice McKinley & Lina Koutrakos.
Plus Spoken Tributes by Jane Scheckter, Nicolas King, Joyce Breach and an interview with Lina Koutrakos on Mike’s final recording session.
