I'm very sad to report that James Irsay passed away today. His wit and wonder, his compassion and humor, his wonderful voice, vast musical knowledge and wisdom as well as his kind nature will be greatly missed. Actually there's nothing too nice I could say about James, although he'd probably blush and disagree with me... 

WBAI will be broadcasting an all day tribute to James on March 3rd.
