HISTORIC KATE MILLETT PACKAGE

Between 6 and 8 pm, on the last night of the Holiday Fund Drive, Joy of Resistance will offer an historic feminist package on the life and times of the legendary feminist Kate Millett, who died this past September--plus a Pacifica Radio Archives interview with Lin Farley, the woman who popularized term "sexual harassment".

We'll be playing excerpts from both, during the program.

The Kate Millett collection includes a complete recording of the recent memorial, held in New York City on November 9 (organized by Veteran Feminists of America), with speeches by Yoko Ono, Gloria Steinem and many others as well as singing by Holly Near; early panels and speeches by Millett and other members of the Women's Libreration Movement--and includes a complete recording of the rally of The Women's Strike for Equality March on Aug. 26, 1970--the first large march of the Second Wave--which helped to launch the modern feminist movement.

The 4 CD Kate Millett package--available nowhere else--is a collector's item that will be sent to you for a pledge of $100

A second premium offered will be a 1980 interview with Lin Farley, the woman who popularized the term "sexual harassment" and wrote the first book on the subject--from the Pacifica Radio Archives. This interview proposes a theory of sexual harassment that is still ahead of its time and important to hear in this time of the #metoo movement. Available for a pledge of $35.00.

Both premiums together can be had for a pledge of $125.

Please support feminist--and non-corporate alternative and radical community radio--this Sunday, Dec. 17, 6-8 pm and pledge for one or both of these fantastic feminist collector's items.
