THE STATE OF THE RESISTANCE: A 1-HOUR SPECIAL PROGRAM

It is increasingly difficult to deny that divisive racial overtones have dominated President Donald Trump’s public remarks as a political figure, from launching his official campaign for President by calling Mexicans “rapists” and “criminals” to three separate travel bans issued through executive order intended to bar citizens of eight countries from entry to the U.S., seven of them with a population that is majority Muslim.

Yet, this is just one of the reasons those vehemently opposing the President believe he must be stopped.

From Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington finding Trump in breach of the emoluments clause for his extensive business interests around the world to women’s rights activists who cite his damning off-air comments made to then-“Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush caught by a hot mic in 2005 as grounds for dismissal.

In a one-hour TrumpWatch special program, host Jesse Lent takes the pulse of the resistance movement in America nearly nine months into the Trump presidency, speaking with Barbara Radnofsky, author of “A Citizen's Guide to Impeachment” about the legal remedies available to citizens looking to remove the commander-in-chief from office and Mark Bray, whose book "Antifa: The Antifascist Handbook" traces the recent movement President Trump pejoratively labeled the “alt-left” to its roots in the anti-fascist movements of the 1920s and 1930s. We will also take listener calls on where you see the protest movement today.
