"Songs in the Current" by Peter Buffet is inspired by the current political and social environment. Reeling from a year of political turmoil, social divide, and human rights violations, Buffett decided to revisit songs in his catalog that may be more relevant now than when he originally released them.  In addition to reworking and re-recording his previous material, he recorded four new tracks including “Woodstock" as he felt we are in an echo of the 60's when people felt unheard and unseen.  

NEW YORK CITY DANCE PARADE:  May 20th tens of thousands of people dance down Broadway for the 11th annual New York Dance Parade.  The parade was created out of a need to educate the powers that be on how important and integral dancing is to our very being.  The multitudes of dance styles represented in the parade emenate from our very diverse melting pot of cultural roots.  We'll interview the founder Greg Miller along with this years Grand Marshalls and other participants of this years parade and dance festival in Thompkins Square Park.
