All over New York City, people are interested in "making it". They recognize that the rat race of simply waking up, going to work, paying bills, buying stuff that they don't need, and then waking up to do it all over again, is becoming tired and unsustainable. They want to pursue their art while making a great living. They want to build their own businesses and make lots of money. They want to fulfill their personal dreams while fulfilling a vision for a better world. They want to do all of this while staying in the city  that they love.

How to Make it in the City is intended to provide a bridge to that better life by creating a place where thought leaders and successful individuals can show others the paths towards massive success, financial abundance,  emotional freedom, and better lives for themselves and better circumstances for their communities. Additionally, the show will also provide a response to the age old question asked of WBAI -"what can we do to make things better?".
