Activists Brave Winter Storm, Urge Governor Cuomo to Resist Fracking
- Manhattan, NY 02/08/2013 by Jim Krivo (WBAI)

On Friday, February 8th, roughly two hundred anti-fracking activists gathered in the blizzard to urge Governor Cuomo to postpone the onset of legalized fracking in New York State.

The governor has only until February 27th to decide whether to renew the regulations issued ninety days ago or to allow those regulations to expire, at which point new guidelines would be required.

Jim Krivo reports from the demonstration at the governor’s Manhattan office on 3rd Avenue.
