In advance of a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing into sexual assault allegations by Dr. Christine Blasey against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, her  supporters gathered in Manhattan in a rally on the steps of City Hall.  They chanted, "We see you. We hear you. We believe you."

Organizers which include Girls for Gender Equity, NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault YWCA OF Brooklyn, Women's Commission on Human Rights and over 40 other organizations say the rally is a reminder to all survivors that you are not alone.

NYC's First Lady Chirlaine McCray says the city is ready to help survivors. The confidential helpline number is a free service at 1-888 NYC WELL. 24/7, counselors are there to help, to listen to people on their way to recovery.
