NYC Moves to Regulate Lyft and Uber

The New York City Council passed legislation to regulate the growth of app-based ride services like Uber and Lyft. Yellow cab drivers praised the move, but opponents say Uber and Lyft provide needed late night service for New Yorkers who live outside Manhattan which are poorly served by yellow cabs.
