Rage, Rebellion, Organizing Our Power was the theme of the conference where panelists discussed revolutionary alternatives to contemporary capitalism.

Green Party Presidential Candidate Dr. Jill Stein took part in a panel on Climate Justice: Carbon Markets vs. Energy Democracy along with Chair of the NYS Green Party Howie Hawkins, Mark Dunlea with the Green Education and Legal Fund, Professor Leonard Rodberg, Chair of Urban Studies at Queens College and Sean Sweeny with Trade Unions for Energy Democracy.  

Dr. Stein says it’s important to examine the politics of fear which tells you to vote against what you are afraid of instead of for what you believe in. She begins her talk by saying she regards what she’s doing in many ways as administering political therapy and helping people break up with an abusive relationship.
