    WBAI Playhouse features two plays by Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, Writer. Professor. Civil Rights Attorney and Playwright.

    “Dreams of Emmett Till”  fast forwards to today, and the now elderly Carolyn must face what really happened on that hot summer day in 1955 when Emmett was accused of accosting her.

    "Shot -Caught a Soul.”  features 16-year old Kareem Johnson, an African-American teenager who lives in the suburbs, and Police Officer Michael O’Donald, who is white. A shot rings out on a dark street. There are only two witnesses - the White cop and Black teenager. One is dead. They both tell the story.
