THE UNCRITIC REVIEWS: Bethel Woods Museum
- Bethel, NY 10/09/2012 by Jim Krivo, The Uncritic (WBAI)

Bethel Woods was the site of the original Woodstock Festival in 1969.

The Bethel Woods Museum has been established there and consists of 1,000 rolling acres of hills where concerts can be experienced to this day, and where there is an amazing museum that focuses on what happened there in 1969.

The museum highlights the civil rights movement, the Viet Nam War, arts of the period, the story of Max Yasgur (owner of the property) and the Hog Farmers who policed, fed and cared for people at the festival.
