On January 9, Governor Andrew Cuomo gave his State of the State message at the New York Empire Plaza in Albany New York.

 In the Concourse right next to the hall where the message was given there were  an estimated 1,000  to 2,000 people gathered to express their desire to ban fracking in the state.

Pete Seeger was there leading the crowd in the song” This Land Is Your Land”. Singer, Natalie Merchant was there with her husband Jon Bowermaster, director of the film “ Dear Governor Cuomo”. (Pictured below)
