An economist says the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation's draft regulations for fracking are incomplete and full of errors

The former chief economist for the MTA is harshly criticizing the state Department of Environmental Conservation for mishandling treatment of the economic impacts of high volume hydraulic fracturing in its proposed regulations.  Speaking with WBAI’s Andrea Sears, Doctor Jannette Barth, now a principal at the Pepacton Institute, says the DEC the regulations are incomplete, misleading, full of errors and ignore volumes of peer reviewed economic analysis of fracking.
