SOLOMON’S BAND OF BROTHERS:
Trio with award-winning jazz, blues, R & B guitarist Solomon Hicks; Regularly featured at the Cotton Club; Audelco “RISING STAR” honoree.
BERNARDO PALOMBO CONJUNTO:
Quartet led by the founder of the Taller Latino-Americano Cultural Center, an acclaimed singer/songwriter whose music has been recorded by Mercedes Sosa, Philip Glass, used in the film Powaqqatsi and heard on Sesame Street.
APOCALYPSE FIVE AND DIME:
A Brooklyn-based “ragtime-punk band” with a beat you can dance to, featuring banjo, fiddle, thundering bass drum, saxophone, ukulele and swirling harmonies.
CATAHOULA CAJUN BAND:
Music of Southwest Louisiana. Learn to 2-step! With fiddle, accordion, guitar, bass and drums
BIG ROAD BLUES BAND: Blends styles of various pre-war blues artists, using guitars, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica and frottoir.
The monthly Multi-Cultural “Mini-Festivals” take place in a 300-person capacity hall for an affordable $10 suggested contribution.
