New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg is slamming the Federal Communications Commission for its proposal to relax cross-ownership rules, which would allow corporations, like Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation to own both newspapers and broadcast stations in the same market.  In his letter to FCC Commissioners, Lautenberg cites the failure of WWOR, channel 9, owned by Murdoch, to adequately cover New Jersey news and issues, despite complains.  WBAI's Jose Santiago spoke to Josh Stearns, the Journalism and Public Media Campaign Director with Freepress
