NYPD Sued For Arrest Tactics At Occupy Wall Street Protests

A federal lawsuit was filed in New York today challenging the New York Police Department’s targeting people for false arrest based on their association with or proximity to dissent and protest. The lawsuit is filed by the Washington DC based Partnership for Civil Justice Fund on behalf of people who were arrested in the first week of the Occupy Wall Street movement.   WBAI's Andrea Sears spoke with Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, executive director of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund.
