Planned Parenthood is 100
- New York 10/18/2016 by Linda Perry (WBAI News)

NYC's First Lady, Chirlane McCray declares October 16th Planned Parenthood Day.
It was a festive occasion in City Hall's Grand Rotunda. Planned Parenthood turned 100!

The organization first started by Margaret Sanger in 1916 lives on to this day, helping hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers through the years and others throughout the country and throughout the world.

The setting was fitting because it was in New York City that Sanger opened her first clinic, in Brownsville.
