BUILDING BRIDGES WINS EXCELLENCE IN MEDIA AWARDS

WBAI Building Bridges producers' Mimi Rosenberg and Ken Nash have won 1st and 2nd place Excellence in Media Awards from the International Labor Communications Association:
 
First Place Winner:
Building Bridges: 1963 to 2013, Marching on Washington for Jobs & Justice

Second Place Winner: 
Building Bridges : Protesting Wal-Mart's Brave New World of Business
Protesting Wal-Mart’s Brave New World of Business this year also won
the Matt Doherty/Gwen Wells Excellence in broadcast Media and
Communications award, one of the most prestigious awards granted by
the N.Y. Metro Labor Communications.

Last year Building Bridges also won for the second year in a row
an Excellence in Media competition award from the International Labor
