Snow will change into a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain during the day on Wednesday. The OEM, the New York City Office of Emergency Management, issued a Hazardous Travel Advisory. “Be ready for a difficult morning commute,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio. “If you do not need to use your car, don’t use your car. If you can use mass transit, please use mass transit.” PlowNYC

Snow accumulation of 3-6 inches and 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice are expected in Manhattan and the Bronx. 2-4 inches of snow and 1/3 inch of ice is expected for Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island according to the Mayor's office.
